Emergency Capacity Planning and Supply Chain Management: The Ottawa Hospital Pandemic Experience

The Pandemic response in the Ottawa Region required a unique approach. Through the development of an external structure to manage surge capacity and new processes to supply the needs of the organization and the region, The Ottawa Hospital persevered. These efforts ensured that community, staff and patient safety was at the forefront with key lessons learned to carry forward to a state of the art future new hospital campus project.
