Melanie Henderson is the Director of Clinical Support Services at The Ottawa Hospital. She also holds a master’s degree in Social Work and LEAN greenbelt certification. She has worked for The Ottawa Hospital for 19 years in various capacities. In her current role, she has oversight for Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, Nutrition and Food Services, Contact Center, Patient Flow and Capacity as well as various Allied Health Professionals. At the beginning of the pandemic, she was appointed as Logistics Section Chief for the Emergency Operations Center where she provided oversight for the supply chain management and processes for PPE procurement.
