Tom Parker is the Director, Redevelopment at Unity Health Toronto. Tom provides leadership and direction in healthcare facility management, construction oversight, redevelopment planning and space planning. Tom leads major construction, renovation and demolition projects through procurement and implementation and is currently leading the St. Michael’s Hospital 3.0 Redevelopment Project comprising of the 17 Storey Peter Gilgan Patient Care Tower, over 2 million square feet of infrastructure upgrades, 150,000 square feet of clinical renovations in addition to the demolition and reconstruction of the oldest wing at St. Michael’s Hospital. Tom received his Bachelors in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is an active member in the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
