Stef J. Schiedon, MCR MBA

Since early 2012 Stef Schiedon has taken on the challenge of strategically planning and leading Land and Capital Development related initiatives for four health regions (Fraser Health Authority, Providence Health Care, Provincial Health Services Authority, and Vancouver Coastal Health). His key directive is to create a sustainable real estate portfolio across the Lower Mainland. He presently holds the position of Executive Director, Strategic Development & Real Estate.

Stef is a true strategist with proven foresight and notable talents in facility and real estate management. He is dedicated to being the leader of a motivated team that excels. Stef is also determined to shift the concept of real estate portfolio management from a cost centre to a value-add strategy – a tool for organizational branding with measurable bottom-line contributions.

At Fraser Health Authority, Stef swiftly reversed the fortunes and perception of his division. His business driven oversight of high profile projects is resulting in the creation of a income for re-investment into healthcare. He led the major land redevelopment project (Pearson Dogwood), representing one of the largest mixed-use redevelopment opportunities in Vancouver, BC (25.4 acres, $300M+ revenue). Across the commercial and healthcare real estate industry Stef is known as a strong leader with an intuitive ability to forge meaningful long-lasting business relationships.
