Mona Udowicz, MRT(T), MA, BA

Mona is the Director of Quality, Safety and Patient Experience for CancerControl Alberta, Alberta Health Services where she leads a team of process improvement consultants and project management with a focus on improving quality, safety and the experience for our patients.  Her career began as a radiation therapist and she gained experience in all aspects of radiation therapy at centers including the Cross Cancer Institute, the Vancouver Cancer Centre and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (TBCC).  Mona has a passion for teaching and held a clinical instructor position in the Alberta School of Radiation Therapy before taking on the role as Radiation Therapy manager at the TBCC in 2005.  Mona went on to complete a Masters degree in Leadership with a specialization in Health at Royal Roads University in 2012.  She then pursued the role of Director of Radiation Therapy for Community Oncology where she was also the clinical lead for the development and transition of the Central Alberta Cancer Centre in Red Deer, Alberta.
