Martha Harvey is an accomplished senior healthcare leader with over 30 years of extensive experience in acute, rehabilitation, and ambulatory care. Her expertise is leading and executing strategic operational readiness initiatives, as well as supporting complex change management principles to achieve successful and transformative outcomes. As a registered nurse with a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Quality, Martha’s role as Director of Operational Readiness for University Health Network is to lead strategic future clinical and operational planning and readiness. Having recently completed a successful opening of West Park Healthcare Centre’s $1.2B new hospital, her current focus is on the $1B patient and surgical tower at Toronto Western Hospital. In addition, Martha is keenly involved in Pre-Occupancy and Post-Occupancy research focused on the effects of the healthcare environment on patient, provider, and organizational outcomes, and is a member of the Canadian Standards Association to develop National Standards for this type of evaluation.
