Joanne Aime

Joanne is a leader in Project Management with over 20 years’ experience in delivering mid to large sized transformational projects in health care, energy and telecoms.  She is as passionate about how a project is executed as she is about delivering results on time and with the highest standard of quality.  In her current role as Senior Project Director for the Calgary Cancer Project (CCP), she is excited to be leading a team of professionals involved in the design, build and commissioning of a world class $1.4B cancer care facility, expected to be open to the public in 2023.

After earning her Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce with Honors at McMaster University,  Joanne started her career with Nortel Network, where she took on roles of increasing responsibility that moved her across Canada, the US and Europe as a member of their leadership development program.  She entered the health care sector nearly 15 years ago, where she has since held different positions that have allowed her to leverage her project management expertise within a health care environment, most notably as the Project Director of the $1.32B South Health Campus hospital, which opened in 2012-13.

Believing in the importance of giving back to the Community, Joanne is actively involved in different non-profit organizations and Boards outside of work, such as Inn from the Cold, Feed the Hungry and Killarney Swim Club, involving her husband, kids and friends whenever she can.
