Please join us for a high level overview of the new Calgary Cancer Centre (CCC), the first Design Build healthcare project to take place within the province of Alberta. Located here on the Foothills Medical Centre (FMC) site, the CCC is expected to break ground in October, 2017 with a goal to be open to the public in 2023. In this presentation, we will cover various aspects of the project including foundational elements (strategy, vision and guiding principles), clinical and technical programming, as well as an update on current project status. We will also touch upon key strategies used to engage staff, physicians, patients, their families and other key stakeholders, all in an effort to ensure the CCC becomes the place of HOPE and HEALING envisioned by all.
