Cris Gresser

Cris has a passion for improving healthcare environment and ensuring patients are always the primary priority. She uses her training and extensive experience in clinical and health information technology settings to support this passion. She is a seasoned educator with the ability to modify information to match the level and learning style of diverse audiences in the classroom, business or clinical settings.

In her current role within the Health Capital Investment Branch at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, she reviews health capital projects from a clinical perspective ensuring that the healthcare facility’s planning and designs reflect clinical best practice and contemporary design standards. All the while, Cris builds on the benefits of lessons learned from previous projects through a lens of ensuring patients are considered first.

Cris is a Registered Nurse with a BA in Health Administration, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE). She is a recognized national and international speaker who has authored/co-authored more than 20 published research and educational articles and is the recipient of the 2005ASE Education Excellence Award.
