Warren Michael has been the Indigenous Coordinator of Cancer Care Alberta since 2015. Warren is Cree from Northern Saskatchewan and has been instrumental in sharing his expertise and experience in building and nurturing relationships with Indigenous communities across Alberta. Warren has led the engagement team in partnering with the Kainai, Piikani, Siksika, Stoney-Nakoda, Tsuut’ina Nations, and the Métis of southern Alberta for the work at the Arthur Child J.E. Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Warren is generous in sharing Indigenous learnings and has taught the team the importance of trust and patience.
