Sarah Lowden

As the lead of the CMA’s portfolio on Climate and Health, I direct the strategic work towards achieving a net-zero and climate-resilient health system in Canada. I specialize in engagement strategy and have a talent for building effective relationships and strong partnerships across Canada and globally to drive change toward a more sustainable future. I am a strategic thinker and a thought leader recognized for my ability to lead through adversity with poise and empathy. I am committed to advancing the CMA’s vision of a vibrant profession and a healthy population.

With over 15 years of experience in the medical and financial communities, I am a Strategic Advisor for Global Health at the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), the national voice of Canada’s medical profession. I hold a master’s degree in International Health Leadership from McGill University, and I am passionate about health leadership, global health, climate change and access to care.
