Diane MacKay is the Chief Project Officer with Island Health responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the Long-Term Care new build projects and is the senior integration point between clinical leadership, facilities and capital teams, funding partners, and the Ministries of Health and Infrastructure.
With over 30 years of project and program management and oversight within both the public and private domains Diane has been involved in the planning, design, procurement, implementation, and operational readiness of a multitude of interesting and complex projects across a variety of sectors. This experience has well positioned her to ensure alignment of diverse interests, navigation of shared risk-governance structures and provide clear, timely and accountable executive decision making that supports clinical excellence and enables exceptional patient care that serves Island Health’s diverse communities.
