Dawn has 30 years of experience working in healthcare. As former Program Manager with the Providence Care Community Brain Injury Services (CBIS), Dawn worked to ensure the provision of high quality services for both CBIS clients and family members throughout South Eastern Ontario (SEO). Dawn’s strong advocacy played a pivotal role in the development of ABI System Navigation of SEO. This service has worked to expand system capacity to better meet the needs of survivors, caregivers, and service providers. In 2006, Dawn completed her Master’s Degree in Leadership and Training at Royal Rhodes University focusing her research on Change Competence. This has served Dawn well in her current role as an Operational Readiness Leader with Providence Care Redevelopment and Planning. Her work has focused on supporting various teams to successfully navigate process changes in preparation for moving to the new Providence Care Hospital.
