Carolyn Snider, MD

Carolyn Snider, MD is the Chief of Emergency Medicine, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto. Dr. Carolyn Snider works with patients and community colleagues to research and redesign how emergency department care can be delivered equitably for those experiencing marginalization and low resources. Dr. Snider is a scientist with MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital, and an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She holds degrees in business, science, medicine and public health and has been recognized as a leader, teacher, researcher, mentor and physician advocate through multiple awards.
