Since September 2022, Amy has been the Senior Consultant, Engagement for the new Calgary Cancer Centre. She has brought her wealth of experience as Practice Lead for Cancer Care at SunnyBrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto and as Clinical Educator at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Amy also works with the University of Calgary as an Adjuvant Assistant Professor within the Faculty of Nursing. Amy is passionate about excellence in oncology care and is committed to person-centred care. She has worked closely with the leadership team and Cancer Care Alberta’s Indigenous cancer care team to create partnerships with the Indigenous communities of Southern Alberta in pursuit of creating real change in the new space to welcome and enhance the care experience of Indigenous patients and families.
