As the firm’s Healthcare Lead, Jerald Peters has led and overseen the successful delivery of numerous complex healthcare and capital projects, including the new Portage Regional Health Centre, and the redevelopment of emergency departments at St. Boniface Hospital, the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, and the Grace General Hospital. Jerald is well-versed in implementing environments that respond to a variety of users, ensuring connectivity, accessibility, and inclusivity in his work. He’s served as past president of the Manitoba Association of Architects and is a fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. With a working knowledge of all related CSA requirements, Jerald’s primary focus is long-term, acute, and clinical care. He regularly attends and presents at healthcare conferences while contributing to papers on long-term care that shifts the philosophy from sustaining lives to enhancing them.
