Dr. Czaykowski is a Medical Oncologist at CancerCare Manitoba, specializing in genitourinary cancers. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. Originally from Vancouver, Dr. Czaykowski completed medical school at the University of British Columbia, Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary, and Medical Oncology at the University of Toronto, where he also obtained an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology.
Dr Czaykowski is actively involved in patient care, clinical research, medical education and medical administration. Major roles have included Chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Medical Oncology Exam Board, Chief Medical Officer of CancerCare Manitoba (2015-2022), Medical Specialty Lead for Oncology/Hematology, Shared Health Manitoba, and the Co-Chair of the Provincial Clinical Team for Oncology and Palliative Care. He is now the Physician Lead for the CCMB2 Project.
