Tony Khouri

Tony Khouri is the Vice President of Facilities & Capital Development, Building Services and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto’s Sinai Health System. In addition to his portfolio, Tony is also responsible for the Medical Devices Reprocessing department. He is a licensed member with Professional Engineers Ontario, holding a Master’s degree (1989) and a Ph.D. (1994) in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of Newcastle, Upon-Tyne, United Kingdom. In 1995, Tony relocated to London, Ontario, where he started his over 20 years in Health Care experience as the Administration’s Lead for Continuous Quality Improvement program.

Tony’s first experience with facilities planning and development was started at St. Joseph’s Health Care, London, ON. He then moved to Toronto and worked at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, now known as Sinai Health System.

Tony has wide-ranging experience in Facilities and Capital Projects whether it is a traditional lump sum or Alternative Funding Procurements (BF, DBFM). He has an excellent reputation and track record in managing projects from conception to occupancy and facility management. Over the years, Tony has built an excellent relationship with the Capital Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long Terms Care as well as Infrastructure Ontario.
