PJ has a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto, and then completed her Masters in Health Studies from Athabasca University. She has graduated from both the Dorothy Wiley Nursing Leadership Institute, the British Columbia Nursing Leadership Institute; and is a member of the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives, and Canadian College of Healthcare Leaders.
With over 30 years in healthcare PJ found her forever home with the long-term care and seniors populations that she serves. Currently the Director for Long Term Care and Seniors portfolio of the Coastal Community of Care at Vancouver Coastal Health; she has direct operational responsibility for owned & operated and contracted Long Term Care homes, owned and operated and contracted Assisted Living homes and Adult Day Programs on the North Shore and Sea to Sky corridor. She also engages with the Sunshine Coast and Central Coast LTC operations with a regional lens that provides policy and procedural support.
