Nick has developed an impressive resume of healthcare experience across Canada since joining HH Angus in 1978. Projects range from the greenfield Thunder Bay and North Bay Regional Hospitals in Ontario, to major new wings at North York General, Royal Jubilee in Victoria and Penticton Regional Hospitals. Nick has served Principal-in-Charge for the massive CHUM P3 project in Montreal, starting with the original bid in 2009. Current work includes the $1.3 billion redevelopment of Royal Columbian Hospital in Vancouver.
As VP Knowledge Management, Nick is responsible for the overall information systems within HH Angus, as well as spearheading the design and management of P3 hospital projects, including several in BC. He is recognized as a leader in the design of hospitals in Canada and has pioneered many innovative and sustainable initiatives. Nick is a member of the CSA Technical Committee on Health Care Facilities, has chaired the CSA Subcommittee on Special Requirements for HVAC Systems in Health Care Facilities for over a decade, and is a vice-chair of Z8000, Health Care Facilities. In 2017, Nick was awarded the PEO/OSPE Medal for Engineering Excellence.
