Mirko Djordjevic

Mirko joined EllisDon Corporation (“EllisDon”) in 2015  and has over 30 years of experience in buildings design, Public-Private Partnerships (“P3”) projects design, constructions, operations and energy management.

As a leader in sustainability, energy efficiency, energy and carbon performance Mirko continues to build on past experience, leveraging his extensive knowledge and understanding of building systems design and operations to optimize building performance and drive efficiencies for clients in the P3 and corporate real estate industry.

As Vice President, Mechanical & Energy, Mirko provides leadership to the Facilities Services and Design Build teams on mechanical design and energy-related matters for P3 projects in Canada. In his role, Mirko implements advanced and innovative approaches related to mechanical and electrical building systems. He is actively engaged in the design decision-making process, providing recommendations to design and construction teams based on the long-term cost of ownership and buildings performance perspective.

Mirko’s experience includes successfully meeting budget and performance expectations and engaging with financial, construction, design, and facilities management team members on P3 projects across Canada. He has worked as both an advisor and subject matter expert  and finds the most favorable balance between first costs, operating costs, and energy costs through implementing advantageous design strategies.
