Marco has over 31 years of experience as a leader in the health care industry, with expertise in institutional and commercial facilities planning, design and project management and real estate development. He has spent the majority of his career in senior management positions with the Lower Mainland Health Authorities, serving 25 years with Fraser Health Authority and 6 years with Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Provincial Health Services Authority and Provincial Health. His involvement with British Columbia’s health authorities and dedication to his work has resulted in the successful completion of hundreds of projects, in all aspects of the health care continuum. His projects included Acute Care, Seniors Housing, Community Health Centers and various other facilities including Mental Health and Withdrawal/Addictions Centers.
In 2015 Marco retired from the public sector and started his own architecture firm; MB Architecture Inc. which specializes in providing strategic and design advisory services for clients mainly for EllisDon Constructors as well as other public sector and not for profit organizations such as BCIT, and the City of New Westminster. His primary areas of specialty are healthcare, seniors housing, affordable housing, and real estate development.
