Jane’s approach to design for healthcare is guided by a desire to create inviting and non-institutional environments which respond to the needs of staff, patients and visitors. She has developed a series of work plans to assist teams in organizing a streamlined planning process. The goal of the process is to ensure adequate input from the appropriate user groups, other stakeholders, and consultants, while respecting client time commitment and schedule requirements.
Jane is a strong advocate of sustainable design and has been a frequent lecturer at industry conferences on sustainable design and its application in healthcare.
