Jana is a skilled leader with 17 years of considerable experience in the planning and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives at the health government level, including nearly 14 years in provincial healthcare redevelopment planning, both in the hospital and community spaces. Key strengths include relationship building and stakeholder engagement, as well as leading collaborative initiatives to successful results.
Jana is the Manager in LHSC’s Office of Capital Management where she is responsible for developing and implementing LHSC’s Master Plan with a focus on continued stakeholder engagement through the redevelopment process, enabling ‘early works’ infrastructure projects, and ensuring alignment of current planning to future needs and design.
Jana holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Sociology with Psychology from King’s University College, a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Western University, and a Professional Certificate in Leadership from Western University. As part of her MLIS studies, Jana focused her research on health information seeking behaviours and contributed to the design and development of evaluative and exploratory research projects.
