Jacques Morency is the associate director of construction and engineering for the new CHUM construction project. His entire career has been dedicated to the field of hospital construction. For the past 10 years, he has been involved in the construction of the new CHUM, with a budget of $3.6 billion. His role is in the project design, the coordination of the architectural, engineering and construction teams, and in monitoring the execution of work and commissioning of the buildings. With the CHUM since 1999, it has taken almost 20 years for Mr. Morency to realize his dream and objective of building a world-class hospital.
