Jackie Charko has 25 years experience in healthcare and project management. She has her MBA in Health Services Management and Marketing from McMaster University as well as numerous other certifications including her Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, ITIL, Lean Greenbelt and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jackie spent 12 years at the University Health Network as the Director of Professional Services, which included the Project Management Office, Education and Talent Management. In this role she managed multiple projects designed to enhance care delivery and improve organizational performance. The scope of this area included the management and delivery of over 80 plus projects across numerous partner sites.
Over the last 4.5 years Jackie has been the Director of the PMO at Halton Healthcare. In this role, she set up the PMO which is responsible for ensuring Operational Readiness for 3 large capital projects, including the New Oakville Hospital.
