Hilarie McKay is a healthcare and medical furniture and equipment (F&E) planning, procurement and interior design professional. For more than 16 years, she’s successfully supported healthcare organizations on F&E projects, including LEED-certified projects, with budgets of up to $560 million. Hilarie applies her technical background in furnishings and interior design to help clients identify critical warranty discrepancies between infection control guidelines and F&E manufacturers’ warranties, and to execute F&E lists, in-contract and not-in-contract equipment specifications, and procurement. Her extensive materiality knowledge is integral to her product selection and recommendation process, which focuses on functionality, longevity and patient safety. Previously with Alberta Health Services, Hilarie has a deep understanding of environmental services policies, applicable guidelines and Infection Prevention and Control. She is currently a team lead and Senior Project Manager with Colliers Project Leaders.
