Grace McKeown

Over 30 years experience in healthcare, Grace’s career started in the Health Record Profession and then shifted into project management for the last 15 years. She is a Leader with Fraser Health’s Strategic Transformation Team has provided project and change consulting to multiple strategic projects. Grace’s least two assignments have been with P3 capital redevelopment projects. The Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) Redevelopment project began in 2008 with the business case and ended in 2014 with the opening of the critical care tower. Grace provided support and expertise to the clinical teams from the business case development, clinical service planning, training, and patient moves on opening day. For the past two years Grace has been establishing and leading the Project Management Office for the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment. In this role she applies her strategic planning, project and change skills to ensure that the clinical, facilities, equipment, and IM/IT workstreams have an integrated approach and schedule.
