Felix is Mackenzie Health’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) where he is responsible for the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, applications, integration and cyber security at both Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital. Felix led the design and implementation of all the IT and smart technology featured in Canada’s first smart hospital, Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, which opened as a full-service community hospital in June of 2021.
Felix has more than 25 years of experience in the IT sector, having spent the past 20 years in healthcare. He has held leadership roles in infrastructure, applications, projects and cybersecurity for multiple hospitals and healthcare organizations over the past 15 years.
Felix has a background in computer sciences having completed a master’s degree in System Sciences from the University of Ottawa. In addition, Felix has earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate and is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
