Diego Morettin

Diego Morettin shares over 20 years of architectural experience with his clients in the healthcare sector.
His practice is guided by his belief that design has the power to contribute to the health and well-being of communities.

Diego’s expertise in clinical planning, design, and project management focuses on creative solutions for
Complex challenges. He believes, unequivocally, that tough issues can only be solved through a
collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.

Diego is the lead architectural building designer for the new Calgary Cancer Centre.
Diego’s approach to design responds and connects buildings to program, landscape,
community context, and sunlight. In recent years, he has contributed to large healthcare facilities across
Canada, employing a variety of demanding procurement methodologies at sites including Dartmouth
General Hospital, UHN Toronto Western Hospital, Cornwall Community Hospital, Cambridge Memorial
Hospital, Halton Healthcare Services.

In addition, Diego is committed to mentoring and participates as a guest critic at the Azrieli School of
Architecture and Urbanism, Carleton University and the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture,
Landscape and Design, University of Toronto.
