Denise Blackwell is the Principal of Blackwell Management Group Inc., a Canadian healthcare consulting firm. Denise has over 40 years of experience in healthcare and 25 years of experience as a consultant. She is an expert in planning, operating, evaluating and improving healthcare facilities and healthcare systems. Her work experience spans seven Canadian Provinces and Territories in virtually every kind of healthcare setting.
For the past four years, Denise has been leading a large interdisciplinary consulting team (BlackwellParkin) that conducted ground-breaking work in health planning. The Integrated Health Service and Infrastructure Plan, also known as the 2030 Plan, is a comprehensive strategy to create an evidence-informed, sustainable, high-performing health care system through to the year 2030. Three campus-wide master plans – all aligned with the 2030 Plan – are now being conducted by BlackwellParkin to set the stage for large-scale capital redevelopment of the Edmonton Zone.
