Connie Coniglio

Connie Coniglio is the Provincial Executive Director, Adult Mental Health and Substance Use at BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS). Connie’s operational portfolio includes the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction and the Heartwood Centre for Women, with oversight for the Rehabilitation and Recovery Program located on the Riverview lands and Ashnola at the Crossing, located near Keremeos, BC. Connie is the Project Sponsor for the Centre for Mental Health and Addiction new build on the Riverview lands, set to open in early 2020. Connie is also responsible for the direction and management of provincial programs and planning initiatives including the BC Psychosis Program, the Provincial Crisis Lines Network and the Provincial Substance Use Treatment beds.

Connie joined BCMHSUS in 2008 and has held several leadership roles with the agency, including Director of Health Literacy, Clinical Director, Eating Disorders and Provincial Executive Director, Children and Women’s Mental Health and Substance Use. Connie is a Registered Psychologist and holds a doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto.
