Cliff Harvey, MSc(HQ), OAA, FRAIC advises healthcare organizations on how they can transform their care environments through strategic capital investments. Known as a strategic and collaborative leader, Cliff is an architect of transformative environments, teams and relationships. Cliff goes beyond the traditional sector of design, construction and operations to integrate service, organizational, and governance design using an innovative design-system-thinking program. This program, along with his deep professional knowledge of local and global healthcare, government, and infrastructure allows Cliff to move seamlessly between sectors and achieve results; and ultimately helps healthcare organizations reimagine their care environments through the lens of quality and service excellence.
Cliff’s experience includes being Senior Architect in the Ontario Government, a Hospital Vice President, and a practicing Architect. He has chaired committees, led task groups, and advised on educational programs. Cliff is an international speaker on health care and design and an active board member. Cliff is also a fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Director of the International Union of Architects-Public Health Group (UIA-PHG), and a member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES), American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), and an international associate of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Cliff is a founding member and Board member of the Canadian Centre for Healthcare Facilities.
