Bev is an Interior Designer and has worked in healthcare planning and design for 12 years. In her role as Guidelines and Evaluation Specialist, she is responsible for developing healthcare facility design guidelines for Alberta Health Services (AHS). She is a representative on the Standards & Guidelines Sub-Committee, a tri-party committee (Alberta Health, Alberta Infrastructure and Alberta Health Services) that is also responsible for healthcare facility evaluations. She worked with Alberta Infrastructure on the pilot Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) in 2011, which was registered as a Pebble Project with The Center for Health Design. Bev is EDAC certified, and is currently leading a BPE for two new rural hospitals in Alberta. She is also a member of the new CSA POE Committee.
