Azad Chichmanian is a partner at NEUF architect(e)s, a 140-person design firm with offices in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. His multi-disciplinary team recently completed the first phase of the CHUM, a large university teaching hospital (in collaboration with CannonDesign) and is now working on several mixed-use projects across Canada and abroad. Over its nearly fifty years of experience, NEUF has evolved into one of the most diversified firms in Canada, working in all sectors of the profession. An active member of Montreal’s design community and a proponent of its renewal, Azad has been an invited guest critic at McGill University’s School of Architecture and a speaker at a number of conferences, including the World Design Summit, World Architecture Festival, European Healthcare Design, Mission Design, MTL du Futur, IIDEX and RDV Design.
