Program Manager
For the past 32 years, Arthur has been involved in health care in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. He has completed the Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse and Bachelorette Nursing programs. He has worked in various frontline and management positions and has considerable clinical and leadership experience.
Mr. Morgan is presently working as a senior leader with the Long Term Care (LTC) Program of Eastern Health. For the past five years he has provided clinical advice and support for the St. John’s Long Term Care build. He developed and executed a clinical move plan for 369 LTC residents with the support of an interdepartmental management team.
He authored a pre move employee manual and completed a six month post occupancy review comparing quality care indicators and quality of work life indicators. He has also co-authored an article which compares employee job satisfaction during the pre and post move periods and has recently joined the LTC Eastern Health team which will move three nursing homes into a new facility located in Carbonear, Newfoundland in the Fall of 2016.
