For over 30 years, Alice has been a leader and innovator in the design of care facilities for children, youth, adults, and seniors with complex needs. She joined Montgomery Sisam in 2001, becoming a Principal in 2006, and has since been instrumental in shaping the firm’s philosophy of design for therapeutic spaces to support the recovery of our most vulnerable populations requiring mental health and addictions treatment. Alice has led the joint venture design team responsible for the redevelopment of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. She has overseen the development of the Master Plan, the Fine-Tuned Master Plan and the completion of Phase 1A – a transitional, residential and outpatient care facility. Alice was also responsible for the creation of a Master Vision document for CAMH, and led the Planning, Design and Compliance team in the successful implementation of the Alternative Financing and Procurement process for Phases 1B and 1C.
