The presentation will focus on the use of remote presence robotics and other advanced technologies for healthcare delivery in tertiary care centers and remote rural health facilities. The use of point of care technologies for diagnosis and treatment and its effects on hospital design will be discussed. The talk will also explore the advent of disruptive future technologies such as brain repair, 3D printing and stem cell restorative therapies on conceptualizing the hospitals of the future.
