Kirsten’s presentation will review several recently completed youth focused Mental Health projects in the Lower Mainland. These projects represent critically needed youth focused infrastructure in the Province of BC . They are all great examples of how small projects can have a significant impact on the Community.
Kirsten will review KRA’s strategy to better integrate the principles of LEAN design into a scalable format, tailored to each project, and how it made a significant impact on project outcomes. Topics reviewed will include, designer architect as facilitator, development of consensus approach, better supporting operations, flows in planning, supportive space instead of institutional space, understanding post occupancy data.
Innovative partnerships are becoming common ground to move capital projects forward and in the meantime improve on the integrated health services delivery. Stef’s presentation will highlight projects in the BC Lower Mainland where these innovative partnerships are becoming reality.
