Presentation: Acute Care for the Elderly Unit
Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) is a Collaborative Strategy developed at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital. The program has made significant improvements in care for patients, health outcomes and value-for-money. Queensway Carlton Hospital recently opened an ACE unit. The design process and model of care will be shared along with lessons learned.
