Yousif Gabrail is the Project Director for the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre project, overseeing the team of professionals responsible for the successful project delivery of the facility. He has more than 10 years of commercial construction experience and has been with the Government of Alberta Health Facilities Branch since 2020. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary, he started his career in Construction Management before transitioning to the Client side and leveraging his technical knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to lead major capital projects. Yousif grew up in Calgary, having lived in the City for nearly 30 years, and is proud to play a pivotal role in such a critical piece of infrastructure, which is set to provide a vital benefit to the deserving people of Alberta. Having delivered many commercial building projects throughout his career, he looks especially fond of ones like this newly built facility since the magnitude of the lasting benefit is so significant.
