Dr. Phan completed medical school at the University of Alberta and residency training at the University of Calgary. She then pursued a fellowship in high-dose rate (HDR) gynecologic brachytherapy, and her clinical areas of focus include gynecologic and breast cancer. She has clinical and research interests in HDR brachytherapy and accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI). Active research areas include clinical outcomes for breast and gynecologic cancers, HDR brachytherapy for gynecologic cancers, and stereotactic radiotherapy for oligo-metastatic gynecologic and breast cancers. She was the Associate Medical Lead for the Arthur Child Cancer Centre from 2016-2023.
