Rudy Dahdal is the Executive Vice President of Clinical Programs and Chief Planning & Redevelopment Officer at North York General. He joined North York General in 2017 after spending over two decades at the University Health Network. As the master architect of NYG’s Campus Transformation plans, Rudy has deep expertise in hospital operations and is passionate about building high-performing, innovative teams that have improved outcomes and experiences for patients, families, staff, physicians and system partners. He has a strong interest in creating systems and cultures of safety and high reliability to proactively anticipate failures and help reduce preventable harm.
Rudy volunteers on several boards and is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He holds a Master of Health Sciences degree from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
