Rebecca Stuart is the Executive Project Director, Service Planning and Operations Readiness for Redevelopment at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN). A Registered Nurse with over 22 years of experience across healthcare sectors and organizations large and small, Rebecca has built and lead portfolios with expertise in risk management, patient safety & experience, quality and process improvement, infection control, professional practice, and strategic planning. She has an Honors BSc in Anthropology and an Honors BScN both from the University of Toronto, and a master’s in Evaluation from the University of Waterloo.
Prior to joining the Redevelopment team in May 2024, Rebecca was the Chief Nurse Executive at St. Mary’s General Hospital and previously spent five years with the Wellington Health Care Alliance where she led the operational readiness, training and orientation and move planning for the new greenfield Groves Memorial Hospital and the new Emergency Department addition at Louse Marshall Hospital. Rebecca lives in Breslau with her husband, teenage daughter and a cockapoo named Fozzie.
