Paulina has over 12 years of experience as a sustainability and high-performance building consultant. Her experience spans the institutional, commercial and industrial building sectors, across a range of project delivery models. She has a background in green building certifications (both new and existing buildings), building energy simulation for benchmarking and code compliance, water conservation modelling, renewable energy systems, building energy efficiency studies, net zero carbon buildings and design for occupant wellness. Paulina has a keen interest in and passion for sustainable development in the built environment, otherwise described as development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the needs of future generations.
Paulina is part of the programming, design and compliance (PDC) team on South Niagara Hospital, which will be the first hospital in Canada to achieve WELL certification. Paulina’s role on the project involved development and validation of the design elements of the WELL strategy together with Niagara Health.
