Lorraine Harrison

Lorraine is a graduate from the Nursing faculty at the University of Calgary (RN, BN) and has been working as a Registered Nurse in Calgary for over 35 years, in operational leadership roles since 1997 . Lorraine’s career has included working in Long Term Care, Home Care, Pediatrics, and General Medicine before following her passion with Hematology and Blood and Marrow Transplant.  Lorraine has been in her  management position at the Foothills Medical Centre since 2007. She began working with the planning of the new Arthur Child Cancer Centre at its inception as a subject matter expert for all my areas of responsibility including: Hematology/Oncology/ Blood and Marrow Transplant Program which consists of: Apheresis (inclusive of both Adult and Pediatric Apheresis/Photopheresis procedures) / Southern Alberta Rare Blood and Bleeding Disorders Comprehensive Care Clinic and Hematology Path to Care program.
