Justin Hantos

Justin is currently overseeing all operations related to the design and construction of technology and building systems integration on multiple large-scale projects for the Western Canadian division as the Director, Information Technology Information Management (IMIT). Justin has a vast amount of experience in leading and working with teams building and operating commercial, institutional, research, and healthcare facilities. His expertise includes leading the design, procurement, installation, integration and commissioning of Building, Security, Clinical and IMIT technology systems and infrastructure such as Data Network, IoT Sensors, VoIP and Telephone systems, Energy Monitoring Systems, Integration Engines, Access Control, CCTV, Digital Lighting, BAS, Power Metering, Duress, Nurse Call, RTLS (Patient Wandering and Locating Services), Radio/DAS, WiFi, Use-case Development and System Integration. Justin also has a strong presence in both the Intelligent Buildings and Technology communities in Canada. Justin currently an Advisor to the Board for Society 5.0 and an active member of BOMA Calgary’s building technology committee. Justin has previously provided guidance to WiredScore’s Global Smart Council and to the Canadian Standards Association as a member of numerous technical subcommittees developing standards for ICT in Construction.
