Jim is a Senior Vice President within EY and leads our Atlantic Canadian Infrastructure Advisory practice based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He’s an advisor to public and private sector clients across a number of sectors including social infrastructure, transport, power, renewable energy, defence, real estate and large commercial projects.
Jim brings over 20 years finance experience including 18 years Project Finance and Infrastructure Advisory experience with EY, initially in UK and subsequently throughout Central and South East Europe prior to arriving in Canada. He’s been involved in over 50 infrastructure projects with a combined value in excess of $25 billion and has specifically advised on the preparation of strategic planning, business cases, procurement and operational issues for projects across a number of different sectors.
He earned his BA (Econ) with honours from the University of Manchester, his MSc degree in International Business Economics from UWE Bristol, is a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants and completed the Harvard Leadership Program, Harvard Business Publishing, from Harvard University.
