Jason is a Registered Architect and Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of interdisciplinary consulting experience in data driven sustainable design. As the Design Performance Lead at HDR, Jason leads the architectural analytics team that includes Life Cycle Assessments and parametric energy and daylighting analyses. He has contributed to award-winning designs of institutional, commercial, residential, and healthcare buildings as well as campus decarbonization planning. Jason is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia School of Architecture where he teaches sustainable design studios and courses. His research on sustainable urban design was awarded a LafargeHolcim Next Generation Sustainability Award and he is a recipient of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia Gold Medal.
