Janice Cullen

Janice Cullen is a strategic management professional who manages big change-oriented projects in large, dynamic organizations. Her experience is broad, including everything from co-leading the closure of the Calgary General Hospital in the 90’s, planning acute care growth into the 2020s, and leading the planning and design development of new patient towers at all of the hospitals in Calgary in the early 2000s, and directing the planning and early design documentation for the Calgary Cancer Centre in the early 2010s. She left health care in 2016 to develop long-range facility planning processes for ATB Financial. Janice returned to AHS in 2021, recognizing that her greatest interest is healthcare-related facility change. Janice is currently Senior Project Director for the $1.8 billion Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre Expansion and Renovation Project.  She was previously the Senior Project Director for the Calgary Cancer Project.
